These roads are no longer free to travel on. The A22 in the Algarve, the A23 in Torres Novas-Guarda, the A24 in Viseu-Chaves and the A25 in Vilar Formoso-Aveiro. These motorways will only have overhead gantry systems and they WILL NOT HAVE TOLL BOOTHS OR MACHINES WHERE PAY AS YOU GO. Must pre-buy credits, or face fines.

Supplier Service: Budget service has always been excellent. Pleasant staff usually with limited English. Never had any problems about claims of damage to the car. If returning the car to the airport it is very difficult to find fuel nearby so fill the car before entering the expressway. Handover of the car at the airport can take some time so allow for this when calculating when to arrive for check in.
Car: I always hire pick up trucks. They usually have minor scratches and dents which are well documented on the condition report, however the interiors are always clean and the vehicles are in excellent mechanical condition

Overall Experience : The main reason for using them was the value for money. Having only paid an initial deposit the remainder of the cost paid at the airport desk was exactly as indicated without any hidden extras. The company uses firms with desks at the airport. This is better than trying to find a man with a clipboard. The staff at the desk spoke perfect English, which helped greatly.
